How to Install Node Packages on Windows 10

I was able to install Node.js and NPM using the link in the questions, but need some help with installing all of the node packages.

node packages:
testRPC
web3JS
solC

Please let me know. Thanks.

    Hey Bryan, you should list these dependencies in a file called package.json (the file format is shown in the video). Please note that the testRPC library has been renamed to ganache-cli. Once you have this package.json file, you can run ‘npm install’ from the same folder as the package.json file to install all the packages

    Hello again,

    Here is my package.json code:

    {
     “dependencies”: {
     “ethereumjs-ganache-cli”: “6.1.2”,
     “web3”: “1.0.0-beta.34”,
     “solc”: “0.4.24”
     }
    }

    When I invoke npm install I get the following errors:

    npm WARN deprecated fs-promise@2.0.3: Use mz or fs-extra^3.0 with Promise Support
    npm WARN deprecated tar.gz@1.0.7: ⚠️  WARNING ⚠️ tar.gz module has been deprecated and your application is vulnerable. Please use tar module instead: https://npmjs.com/tar
    npm ERR! code E404
    npm ERR! 404 Not Found: ethereumjs-ganache-cli@6.1.2

    Not sure where to start troubleshooting. Please let me know what you think.

    Also, when you say to save the package.json file in a project folder. Would should I call that project folder and where would be the best place to put it?

    Thanks,

    Hey Bryan, the name of the dependency should be “ganache-cli” (instead of “ethereumjs-ganache-cli”). Also, the project folder can be named anything you like and placed anywhere you like
